Universal Child Care Benefit

Recently, I shared information in our newsletters about the governments new Universal Child Care Benefit. There has been a bit in the media about this. Parents with children under the age of 6 years will be getting $1,200 annually per child, broken down into 12 monthly installments of $100 for each preschool-age child in every family Unfortunately, this benefit is taxable so it will actually turn out to be $80.00/child per month.
